Are any GP's with titles such as (M.B.B.S) or (B.sc M.B.B.S) or (M.B.C.H.B / F.R.A.C.G.P) able to prescribe oxycodone?

i KNow the law states in NSW Australia they are able to prescribe without authority for 2 months with there own analysis of the patient and own discretion,,,, but are the above titles all able to do it? Im just curious cause I thought all GP's Have the same authority.

Didn't you already ask someone this question...?

No those abbreviations simply refer to their qualifications or membership in certain organizations.

MB BS - Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery
MB ChB - Another way to abbreviate the above, same thing.
FRACGP - Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners
B.SC - Bachelor of Science.

That's all. Any GP who does not have restrictions on their license can prescribe S8's. If you searched google you would have found these answers.
