Opioids What to do with poppy stems?

Do poppy stems have any use? What do you do with them?

If one would start messing with them, how much stem material would you use vs. the amount of poppy pods you'd use?

I used to do it. The high is a little more thebainey though. They are much weaker though by weight. I forgot the ratio but it was something like 8-10:1, where 8g to 10g of stems equals 1g of pod material.

In my experience only the first 5 centimeters of stem from the pod down are worthwhile, but I'd save the rest anyway for a rainy podless day

Having to use stems for tea after I ran out of poppies was a bummer. Not satisfying. I shudder at pod withdrawal. One of the most dramatic things i have had to go through. I remember even good quality heroin not fully covering the 40 or so alkaloids in the plant matte when in withdrawal. Natural opium is strong and long lasting.
