Found this thread enlightening. Also I have wondered that if something truly did cause less and less tolerance that eventually person a would not need the drug. And as someone said some people are up to 20 mgs a day, that does not seem like reverse tolerance. I wonder if we could ever have a controlled study again with people on so many different substances in the studies. Ex. My FIL was in a turmeric study when he was 90. Oh and he was on about 7 prescription meds. So what the hell are they going to learn from a study about Turmeric from my FIL???Etizolam is probably not very special at all, instead it is the manufacturer and drug developer trying to tell a plausible story to get the drug approved. The main advantage of etizolam over other older drugs is that it is fairly rapidly metabolized and excreted with a short half life and doesn't accumulate.
Sometimes I wonder where facts come from. I know they do not come from the drug makers.
