Hello BL,

I've recently had a chance to reagent test a sample of 4-AcO-DMT.

This one was taken after ~4 minutes:

And this one after ~1 hour:

I have two concerns regarding these results:

1) Marquis turned Brown instead of the expected Green / Brown. There is no hint of Green at all.
2) Ehlrich went from Pink to Purple, but ended up as Blue.

The substance itself is grayish / pinkish off-white. All reports I've read described 4-AcO-DMT as having brilliant white color.

My question is, judging by these results, is it safe to say this is not 4-AcO-DMT?

My second guess would be 5-MeO-DMT as it turns Brown with Marquis and also Blue with Ehlrich (after a considerable time). However, I couldn't find expected results for Froehde / Liebermann / G. Acid to compare.

Published reagent colour results describe the change after 5-60 seconds, and colour changes outside of this window should be ignored unless specified otherwise by the reference library.

I would not be too concerned about the lack of green hint in the marquis reagent if everything else is matching. Perform your allergy tests as normal or send off to a lab before consuming.
