Alcohol Weird effects with alcohol and 5htp

I'm currently going through a kratom withdrawl and was feeling a little desperate. I had around 6 drinks and took 2 500 mg 5 htp pills. I blacked out like an hours worth of memory which is really weird for me at around six drinks. Has anyone experienced something similar to this?

that sounds pretty strange, how strong were the drinks? don't think the 5htp has anything to do with it but don't quote me on that

I've drank on 5htp several times and it enhanced the drunk. Almost like it was more of a high than drunk.

Some people have really negative experiences with that combo. There is some limited evidence that it could potentially lead to serotonin syndrome so be careful. Everyone's milage will vary.
