Ethnobotanicals Weed, cbd and hiccups

Weed immediately stops very severe hiccups that can last hours or even days straight for me. 1 puff and it's gone.

My question is If cbd has the same effect. I could not find anything in the scientific literature on cbd and hiccups.

Trying to find anything outside of the scientific literature (which is all paywalled) on cannabis just leads to stoner blogs that say weed cures every single disease on the planet.

Yes I know there is a cannabis forum on BL but it's very dead on this site so sorry for posting here.
