Was Shia LaBeouf’s #IAMSORRY The Archetype Of Understanding Internet Trolls?

Shia LaBeouf held a performance piece where he allowed all of the internet opinons a chance to address him openly in person. He even claims he was raped. I saw an interview where he described it on "Ellen" as wanting to understand and relate with the motivation of internet attacks. It all seemed really cerebreal.

YouTube comments are one of the most bizzare things today imo. What people are willing to say because of no consequence. If youtube charged it wouldnt work, but its launched so many careers.

Is what he chose to do something all celebrities could do?

I think this belongs in Second Opinion. I'm not really sure. I'd be really interested in some people's input regardless.
