PRA is evaluating the pharmacokinetics and safety of an oral drug in subjects with stimulant use disorder
PRA Health Sciences is conducting a study for healthy men and women ages 18 to 55 who regularly use stimulants. Stimulants include amphetamine, methamphetamine, cocaine, and/or methylphenidate. Volunteers must be available for 4 stays of 3 nights (4 days) plus 1 follow-up visit. Qualified study participants may receive compensation up to $9,000.

Even if you don’t qualify, you may receive up to $300 for referring a qualified participant. For more details, call PRA today at (385) 360-2464.

Participation in this study includes
  • 1 screening visit
  • 4 stays of 3 nights (4 days)
  • plus 1 follow-up visit.
Qualifications
  • Male / Female
  • Age 18-55
  • Regular stimulant users
  • BMI: 18-34

We are testing the drug to see if it will provide a gradual onset of dopamine to help block the effects of abused stimulants.

I think it’s very important when considering participating in for profit clinical trials people are aware of who they are dealing with and where that trial is happening.

Read between the lines there.

This is from a company that works for profit science to achieve the approval of their study needs.

For more information about this study call our recruitment team we are happy to answer any questions you have (385) 360-2464.. This would be a very difficult study to take part in if you are not in Utah. You would have to come to our clinic a minimum of 6 times and it spans over a couple of months. https://prastudies.com/All-Clinical-Research-Studies/#location=2 You can also sign up on our website and go over FAQ's about participating in a clinical research study. When you come in for screening we go over an informed consent that will go in-depth about what to expect and any possible adverse effects that could happen. You can with draw from a study at anytime for any reason.
