I took my last Truxal (Chlorprothixene) 15mg yesterday to fall asleep after doing speed (amphetamine).
Today I took just a tiny amount of speed to function, but I am sensitive to stimulants and fear I will not be able to sleep tonight.
I have some mirtazapine 15mg, so my question is if it's safe to consume only 20hours after Chlorprothixene? I am not prescribed either of them.
I know mirtazapine is a TeCA: tetracyclic antidepressant (TeCA).
And chlorprothixene should be avoided with TeCa, but since there is a 24h hours between consumption I thought it might be relatively responsible to do this one time.
I've read that mirtazapine doesn't cause Serotonin-syndom on it's own but I am wondering if it can when combimed with Truxal.
Other than that the risk lays primarily in QT-prolongation, how concerned be about that?
Also I'd Like to know wich of them is considered to be the most sleep-inducing?
