Three men from Litherland have been arrested after police uncovered 200 rounds of ammunition from a suspected drugs making factory.
Officers executed warrants at two addresses in Litherland this morning and found the ammunition and hundreds of kilos of what is believed to be mixing agents for Class A drugs above an industrial unit on Lily Road.
Three men (two aged 59 years and one aged 30 years) from the Litherland area have been arrested on suspicion of possession of Section 5 ammunition and possession with intent to supply Class A.
One of the 59-year-old men has also been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply Class A drugs.
