HAPPY MONDAYS star and aspiring politician BEZ is refusing to give up drugs for his election run.
The former dancer, real name Mark Berry, recently revealed his plan to stand in the 2015 general election as a potential Member of Parliament (MP) for Salford and Eccles.
However, Bez is determined not to change his partying lifestyle and has no plans to give up his recreational drug habit.
He tells the Daily Mirror newspaper, "I am still into partying and I still use recreational drugs. But that doesn't make me a bad person. I'm honest enough to say it and I've absolutely no skeletons in my cupboard. I don't do evil."
Bez also reveals he has never filled in a ballot paper before, adding, "I've never voted in my life. I've never felt able to put my pen to a ballot paper because there was nobody I believed I could vote for. They were all working for the bankers. There was nobody for the people."
