My gimpy knee was recenlty horribly aggravated by various stuff ... suspect having to stand up for almost three hours straight teaching last Sunday was to blame.
Plus the near-impossibly of getting to work on time on a Sunday when I'm using public transport. Plus very heavy backpack
Anyway, by Sunday night I couldn't walk without a stick
Next day I gimped on over to my GP, determined to get some decent pain relief ... and to my utter astonishment she said I could have some oxys or Tapentadol.
I opted for the latter because oxys make me feel murderous (has anyone ever experienced mood dysphoria from Oxys?)
Am incredibly PISSED OFF with myseklf now, because I had been quite judicious with these painers, but this evening I realised I only had four left, so opted to take the whole four at once just for the fun of getting off my face on opioids ...
Will SO regret it tomorrow.
