Harm Reduction Trying to Understand Micron Filters, Which size do drug users use? .22 or .45?

I'm writing a college thesis on Drug Abuse of Pills ...

for a Master's psychology class.

I've literally run through article after article and I think the right answer for pills to remove particles .22 is too small, and .45 is the correct size for water soluble drugs to be filtered from the dangerous particles?

I just saw a youtube video that said .8 wheel filter size is correct, but these aren't even readily available for sale it seems?

Any experience and answer is greatly appreciated.

I may be incorrect and i've never used a micron filter but I would think the smallest filter would be best. The point of these filters is to filter out insoluble pill material or cut and bacteria. The smaller you can get the pore size the less insoluble material gets through.

Molecules at the very most are 10 nanometers across. This might work better in theory but assuming a decent prefilter was done the .22 should work.
