So I go to a Suboxone clinic, and see a GP separately. My GP prescribed me Ambien with 5 refills. I didn't think anything of it until I saw my Suboxone Dr who asked me about the prescription fill. He told me I'm not allowed to be taking that and not to refill it anymore. I want to continue to take the Ambien but I was wondering how I could go about filling it without his knowledge. Would paying cash for it instead of using my insurance help? He showed me the list of all my meds I've had filled in the last 6 months. Would paying cash help keep me anonamous?

Whether you pay cash or use your insurance, it will appear in the database just like before. If your suboxone doctor decides to check again, he will find out that you went against his advice. Sorry, I have to close this as its bordering on pharmacy legality which varies state by state.
