Good evening
I have a question about some of my cactus.
They are about 4 years old and 100 centimeters. Lately they have started to produce small clear to crystal white drops on some of the needles. Mostly on the top rows. I have tried to taste some of them, but with the small size it is very difficult. Anyhow they taste like sugar with a small aftertaste of salt, I think.
Another thing is, they don't evaporate. Even after 3 weeks in direct sunlight.
Can anyone tell me why my cactus is producing them and what they are?
Pictures can be seen on the link below

Kind regards
