Tribes: Ascend

Anyone else playing? I can’t stop playing after my first flag cap @ 200 speed. I know that’s not that fast for advanced players but holy shit, what a fucking adrenaline rush. Getting chased down by 10 other players at that speed is exhilarating! Not only is the game insanely fun but it looks like it's great for competitive play with a really high skill ceiling.

Did anyone else play the original?

seriously? no one has played a tribes game before?

If you like fast paced FPS games that are made for competitive play please don't sleep on this game. They are using the F2P model and it works brilliantly, no imbalance or game changing items as they are all unlock able through normal play. It's currently in open beta, if anyone decides to play let me know!

I played Tribes 2 quite a bit but haven't played an FPS for many years now. Not as much time to spend gaming as I used to so I tend to focus on RPG and strategy games which are more my thing
