:!What's something somebody could do to lower the risk of having a seizure or getting serotonin syndrome after accidently taking tram 50mg after getting lit of 3 or 4 lines of ice. Also should they let the tram wear off before going to sleep?:\

Tramadol is good for one thing making your brain bleed

There's nothing wrong with being humorous when communicating in the forums, but you still need to be providing accurate and (hopefully) helpful information to the community. You also have to pretend like the people you're addressing have literally zero knowledge. This last one is not pretend: people believe things that they read on the internet very easily. With all of this in mind, please refrain from making statements like this without supporting evidence or a more obvious indication that you're trying to be humorous.

Tramadol (Ultram) shouldn't "make your brain bleed". It's a relatively mild Opioid agonist that also exerts action as an SNRI that can make it both more beneficial for certain types of pain, but also causes it to have more dangerous side-effects than other Opioids of similar potency. You shouldn't exceed 300mg in a sitting, as doing so will further reduce your body's seizure threshold. 50mg Tramadol shouldn't be enough to produce a significant toxicity of any kind, although both of these drugs do indeed lower the seizure threshold. If you do have a seizure or are beginning to experience the onset of Serotonin Syndrome, call an ambulance immediately as we will not be able to help you.

If you have Benzodiazepines on hand, you can use them sparingly to help reduce the risk of seizures or to arrest one in progress, but the only serious option should be to go to the hospital if you experience such a catastrophic reaction.
