So I've read that Grapefruit Juice induces the CYP2D6 enzyme which can potentiate the effects of Tramadol. I also read that inhibiting the CYP3A4 enzyme increases the duration of Tramadol. I found an old bottle of 200mg Fluconazole pills (old as in no one is currently taking it) which I read is a CYP3A4 inhibitor. Would these 3 things together be safe? How much grapefruit juice should I drink and how many mg of Fluconazole should I take?
I took tramadol for the first time last night (150mg) and it was extremely euphoric for me, which I read isn't the case for everyone. I only have 125mg left, so I wanted to potentiate it as much as possible. This 125mg will probably be taken at least 20 hours after the 150mg, so I'm assuming it's safe.
