Is it safe to take two different brands of oxycodone/acetaminophen at the same time. They both contain the same ingredients. My pharmacy gave me a different brand this time and I still had a few of the last prescription left over

Yes. The only variable you need to watch is the content or dosage of Oxycodone that you are consuming. Different brands or formulations of Oxycodone/Acetaminophen contain varying levels of both of these drugs. If you are consuming more than just a few tablets per day at any rate, you should definitely familiarize yourself with the Cold Water Extraction process for separating the APAP from the Oxycodone. Hope this helps.

Adding to the above, it sounds like you have a script and just got a different brand to normal direct from the pharmacy? If that's the case, the doses will be identical and you can treat them the same as your usual brand. A pharmacy will give you the dose your doctor puts on the script regardless of the brand they stock.
