Taking a break of Stims = Increases tolerance?

Hi,

Has anyone here ever taken Stimulants, took a break and then when going back on them (same dose), the overall good effects your looking from stims such as euphoria are reduced.
I read some reports of this online and I myself experienced this.

I was taking 35mg of Amphetamine daily for two years, took a year break, and when I went back on them I had barley any euphoria or happy feelings.

Please give your experience.
