Syringe and needle advice IM

Im just/simply injecting Phenibut intramuscular. I acknowledge I shouldnt and all the rest. Currently using 1mg insulin syringes. Went to get the bigger 2mg syringes from the exchange, but have to attach the needle with that size and there was a choice of options or colours. The pharmacy worker was clueless. Any advice on what to ask for needle wise? I know I shouldnt..... already a relapsing alcoholic etc etc Looking for harm reduction thats all.

The blue microfine 23g/25mm should be sufficient for your needs mate.

In general for IM (intramuscular) injections you would use a 21 to 23 gauge needle 1 to 1.5 inches long for an adult.
Care must be taken to avoid blood vessels, and you must always aspirate with an IM injection to ensure that you have not hit a vessel. If you aspirate blood, remove the needle and prepare a new syringe. Never inject the blood back into the tissue.
