6500 threads and 140000 posts have been pruned

The previously announced prunes have taken place in The Lounge, SLR and Australian Social. A nice 90 minute job turned into a 4.5 hour job because Bluelight has gotten so big that all of these things drag out so long. Not my idea of a swinging good time.

Anyway, please report problems (if any) in the Support forum.
 
4400 threads and 38000 posts have been pruned

The previously announced prune of Music & DJ's has taken place. If there are any problems, please report them in the Support forum. Much more importantly, some significant changes were made to Bluelight's server setup today. This resulted in considerable downtime but hopefully it will help the site move more efficiently. There will be additional changes in the next four weeks. Sorry for the inconvenience!

The previously announced prune of Second Opinion has taken place. The development forums and a couple of private archives were also eliminated. If there are any problems, please report them in the Support forum.

The previously announced prune of all the events forums has taken place. If there are any problems, please report them in the Support forum. Bluelight was offline for 3.5 hours while this was taking place. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Have you ever wondered what happens to posts when moderators move them out of sight? They are sent to a private forum....which eventually gets full. Now all of those "deleted" posts are really gone! ;)

The previously announced prunes of European Drug Discussion, Current Events & Politics and Drugs in the Media (The Front Page) have taken place. If there are any problems, please report them in the Support forum.

The previously announced prune of Thought & Awareness has taken place. The planned prune of seven closed forums (Pill Reports, The Chillout Room, Events, National Events, USA Attacks, Visual & Performing Arts, and Portfolio) has also happened. If there are any problems, please report them in the Support forum.
 
153456 posts and 4147 threads have been pruned from The Lounge.

4084 posts and 948 threads have been pruned from Support.
