I have been a Subutex/Buprenorphine user for over ten years now after making the huge transition off heroin and have been buying my tablets off the black market all this time. This week has a nightmare for me as all of a sudden my supply chain has stopped and I'm in a huge withdrawal without being prepared for it. I have contacted my local drug treatment centre but can not get an appointment for two weeks. So I contacted all the local private treatment centres and its the same story. I'm currently on 8 mil a day and I'm so scared that if I don't get a script soon I will have to use again. And after 10 years this would be soul destroying for me and I'm so fearful I wont be able to work and my new life will be in the gutter once again.
Does anyone know of any centres in the UK that don't have long waiting lists or advice on how I can get through this withdrawal as pain free as possible and still manage to live a normal existence enough to be able to work day to day.
