Suboxone to methadone back to suboxone

I've searched and searched and I can't find an answer to this question in particular.

I take suboxone daily and I have for about eight months. The last two months I've been at 6 mg daily.

I took 6 mg two days ago, and took my last milligram yesterday at 10 am.

After that I procured 80 mg of methadone. I ingested 40 mg around 1 pm yesterday and I felt no withdrawal the rest of the day. Today I took another 40 mg at 8:30 am and I feel fine as well.

I now have my suboxone back, knowing that there is still suboxone on my receptors, is it safe to dose again relatively soon without going into precipitated withdrawal?

Thank you for any help you can provide me.

Much love!

It's hard to say, but I doubt that reintroducing the Buprenorphine will produce a severe reaction. If it was only one instance of dabbling with the Methadone and not part of a binge, then you should be fine. I would still wait until you start feeling uncomfortable to take the Burpenorphine, just to be safe.
