Stupid question. Can whatever you've touched (eg; pasta sauce) get onto your joint?

If I were to put lotion on my hands or have a bit of spicy pasta sauce on my fingers, could it possibly rub off into the joint and be inhaled? Could this potentially be dangerous? I've always wondered this because I've seen construction men smoking cigarettes with oil covered hands or just hands covered in mud or dirt.

What about food? What if you touch a spice and it gets on the joint? I know this is silly but I'm genuinely curious

I think say if you rolled up aftet touching solvents or chemicals then there is need for concern


I once accidently emptied the oil bladder on bike forks and i couldnt get that smell off my hands for ages lol

In this particular case you describe of pasta sauce i wouldnt worry

yeah with all the toxic shit you inhale when smoking (either weed or tobacco or anything else), I wouldn't worry about traces of food or cosmetics. you should wash your hands before rolling though if you handled actual potent toxins
