Studies around antihistamines as potential new psychoactive compounds

Simple question.
Alexander shulgin referenced that if he had more time he would next explore compounds around antihistamines.

I dont quite recall where he said this, perhaps toward the end of one of his books. Eitherway, my question is, has anyone taken this perspective and what has it yielded?
