Hi,
I'm unsure if it's possible for all medications, but can Viagra be taken sublingually- will it speed up the onset time- and will it be more potent so I can lower my dose and save a little cash?!
I'd be grateful to hear any experiences/opinions.
Regards,
Jimbo

Hey Jimbo, no worries at all my friend, but we are typically more geared toward Psychoactive substances here on Bluelight. I do believe you're welcome to post about this drug, just be aware that it's not necessarily our forte and it might be hard to come by someone with the motivation or knowledge to answer.

With that said, you can consume Sildenafil (Viagra) sublingually. It's actually, probably the best way to consume the substance. I'm not sure exactly how bioavailability (the amoount of the drug ultimately affecting the body, which generally changes from route to roue, oral administration, intravenous administration anon) is affected by the route of administration, but the difference in effect seems to be negligible if not stronger than if taken by the oral route.

Another factor that I'm sure will be quite compelling, is that sublingual administration appears to possess a faster ultimate onset of effect. Here's an article from PubMed to support these statements if you'd like to read it over.

Hi Keif, I really appreciate your reply, and the link to the study.
It's very kind of you.
Thanks,
Jimbo

Yeah, compounding pharmacies make bank on it. Idk, Im sure its quicker, but probably not all that much. Not gonna hurt you though, so have at it.

There are some generics that are made to use sublingually in India so I'm sure it'll work
