Opioids Should I Increase My Opioids?

Managed to decrease my morphine from 40mg/day to 20mg/day and my codeine (30mg) pills from 12 a day to 6 a day over several weeks, but I have two herniated discs and the pain in my back is becoming more than I can tolerate.
I was thinking of a smallll increase like 8 codeine a day instead of 6? I don't wanna undo all the work cutting down, though.

The morphine is probably safer than the codeine. I've just heard of people using too much codeine having a lot of health issues.

Try to add NSAIS, paracetamol, dermal diclofenac, muscle relaxants...if i want my pain to be controlled by only opioids i would need 400mg Oxycodone daily...
