Due to a combination of laziness on my part and pharmacy errors I have gone an entire week without my Sertraline script. After spending the last three days busting into tears watching commercials or even sitcoms while binge eating simple carbohydrates I decided I'd had enough and managed (via phone) to convince my doctor to issue me a same-day emergency prescription today.

However, I'm unsure how much to take?
Should I:

a) start back at 50mg and build it up again (assuming it's left my system by now?)
b) take my regular 150mg dose
c) take a one-off higher dose to get it back into my system faster

You should be okay to resume your regular sertraline dosage but don't go over what you'd normally take.

Yeah, you should be alright to take your full dose, but you could start with 100 mg the first day, just to be extra safe
Sertraline has a half life of around 24 hours so you should be back at a steady state after around 4 days
