According to Hamilton Morris, various fungi and bacteria may be capable of selectively oxidizing the 11-position of the THC molecule increasing potency, and this has been demonstrated, as endophytic fungi native to C. sativa biotransform THC to 11-OH-THC, 3-OH-THC, & 3,11-DiOH-THC. The monohydroxylated metabolites have increased potency, and all hydroxylated metabolites have an accelerated onset of action. Does anyone know more about this? Maybe this is why sativas are known to be more psychedelic?

That's really interesting. My only doubt is does this occur at high enough levels to have a perceivable effect? And also, are those fungi active in all sativas or only in those grown in their natural habitats?

His source is Hamilton Morris from vice Lol. Sativa's are crazy psychedelic and I get more anxiety from them like haze strains than indica.
I do prefer indica but sativa is great with LSD
