Running short on Oxycontin

I am prescribed my meds and I have run short a couple of times and I cannot find any O'contin/O'codone any where. I ask around and people say "they still make those?" Why are they so uncommon on the streets? I can find Hydrocodone around every corner but Oxy is nonexistent. Do you find it in your area? I cannot take anything but the Oxy because of the urine tests. I took hydrocodone and man it made me sick because of the amount I had to take to make up for the 300mg a day Oxy I usually take and 180mg of oxy IR. What do you do when you cannot find what you are prescribed? It is a nightmare lying in bed watching the clock, waiting for my pickup date.
