Roadside drug testing

I've been searching for the past halfa and can't find anything recent so sorry if I've missed something and doubling up.
With the current advancement in drug testing does anyone know how long drugs (all the usual suspects) take to clear a positive swab?
Does anyone know the difference between NSW and VIC?
I think NSW only tests if it's in your system not if you are actually impaired, which is a total root in my opinion.
Also do they differentiate between OTC medication eg meth and Pseudoephedrine or codeine or oxy and skag?
