Rare neuropathic pain - Please help isolate the cause

I'm clean from using heroin, meth and benzo's for about 1 1/2 months now. My understanding is that all withdrawals should be over.

A stinging, electrical pins and needles sensation runs through my legs every day, all day. It started about 3 1/2 weeks ago. I had added mclobemide to my medication regimen that consists of lamotrigine and dopaquel.

A Valium re-taper was attempted as it was assumed that this was a result of latent benzo withdrawals. It didn't help. I was put on Lyrica about 1 1/2 weeks ago. The pain persists.

Two questions. Can you help me isolate the cause and suggest a medicinal remedy (naturally non-addictive). Therapeutic approaches of sufficient sleep, exercise and stretching have not helped.

The second question is: Do Neurologists have medication and ways of isolating the problem that differs from MD's and Psychiatrists? If so what are they?

Forgive me if this is at all not entirely on topic for this forum. It seemed relevant. Your help is greatly appreciated.

The short answer is yes, but brace yourself, the Neurological Field is still in its infancy.

You may have to visit multiple Neurologists in order to get an accurate diagnosis, if you’re able to get one at all.

Good Luck 🤞

I feel you have an injury that jas been coveres deom self medicating and it is now time ro gwt a peoper/honest daignosis for a apecialist.
