hi i found very interesting article regarding rapamycin and being possible that by blocking mTORC1 it can help with alcoholism and other substance abuse and addiction issues. here is the article i found; http://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/319373.php
whats your opinion on this. specifically, i read in the article that alcohol and drugs actually stimulate mTORC1 and hence redosing and addiction and rapamycin is helpful versus, BUT, on wikipedia i read alcohol is actually INHIBITOR of mTORC1 just like resveratrol, curcumin and rapamycin. someone care to give their educated opinion on this?
and i want to ask, do you guys know of alternatives to rapamycin that might inhibit mTORC1 besides resveratrol and curcumin, since those are supplements with very weak value?
