Just curious as to how some people would rank them. Im a Semester away from a AS Pre-Engineering and am still a lil upo in the air of which field i should pursue out of Chemical, Petroleum, Electrical and Civil....

Here's the list..

Chemical
Civil
Electrical
Mechanical
Aerospace
Industrial
Petroleum
Naval Architecture
Nuclear
Environmental

So what yall think....whats the hierarchy at your school?

I would prob put them like this

Nuclear>Chemical>Petroleum>Electrical>Mechanical>Aerospace>Naval Architecture>Civil>Industrial>Environmental

I've often heard industrial engineering cited as the easiest. Nuclear is probably the hardest if we're talking about Navy Nuke school. Electrical is up there, but realistically it's mostly a matter of what interests you more. I would probably do better in Electronic or Nuclear engineering than Mechanical or Petroleum simply because the latter two would bore the hell out of me.

Not too sure bout the rest but im an electronic engineer and it is torture... if i knew what i was getting myself into back in the day i would have went to chef school or something along those lines?? but thats just me
