question for users of large amounts of valium

Please be gentle with me.

I am on 75mg valium and tapering.
Last week, on tuesday I took 80 by mistake, not concentrating (ADHD) and emptied 8 into my hand from my tin, only noticed when I counted them.
Two days later, I couldnt remember taking my dose, as I got distracted by a phone call, so I waited till the evening and took it again.

I know valilum has such a long half life.

As valium has such a long half life, could this have bumped up my tolerance to over 100mg?
Can I continue tapering, or should I updose and taper from the higher dose?

I don't think one high dose will throw it off so much and resuming your taper as it were would be the thing to do. Have you ever had a seizure?

You mean you took your dose of 75mg of Valium twice in a single day?

It will even out in your plasma levels as it has a long half life so it is not a big problem for your tapering schedule.

Could you put your dose in a dosett or similar (or just in some small plastic bags with a day written in them) before you take them in order not to mess up again?
