What would you consider to be the more difficult, challenging and uncomfortable things that come up during a session not so much for the subject but for the sitters themselves.

what techniques have you used to navigate through those parts of a session ?

Oh and Respect and Thanks for doing what you do.

Charles Grob held a lecture in Amsterdam a few weeks ago and he was asked this same question by someone in the audience. He gave a pretty elaborate answer, but since the lecture's not online yet, you'll have to wait until it is. Sorry for the teaser. Maybe you can find other videos of some of the researchers working in this field: Michael Mithoefer, Peter Gasser, Peter Oehen, Anthony Bossi, Charles Grob, Alicia Danforth, Katherine MacLean, Stephen Ross, Roland Griffiths are some of the names of the main researchers working in this field who are studying patients with severe issues (actually, most of them suffering from end-of-life anxiety secondary to a terminal illness).
