I always wondered if it's potentially harmful for your kids if you take a pill and then you have the residue on your fingers. Then your touching the pacifier , bottle , etc? I know we are talking about very small amounts but still. I am very careful When I take my pain meds. I wash my hands very well (sometimes twice). I'm wondering what others think about this.

No. If you were touching bleach or other corrosive chemicals I'd be more worried. Pills are meant to not leach their active ingredients.

If you're washing your hands you're doing your due diligence. Twice is even overkill imo.

In short, NO.

if you you are taking actual regulated meds in pill form as they are meant to be taken you do not need to worry.
(unless there was an allergy but this is a stretch even)

hand sanitizer after handling or wash your hands throughly ....simple
