Quarter of xanax mixed with 250 mg kava pill

So my friend took a quarter of a Xanax pill and felt pretty high but not very high.

Then took a 250 mg kava pill to potentiator the effects. It was pretty sedative but they mostly just fell asleep

They woke up feeling groggy and everything being okay for the most but they're worried about liver or kidney damage as they've read about interaction between the two being an issue for toxicity

Is this something they should be concerned about especially such a low dose?

They don't use hard drugs too regularly and they tend to do them in very small doses

They're 5'7 150 pounds male

If you did this repeatedly and with high doses, it may have toxic effects on your liver. There are some reports of kava causing damage to the liver. But mostly, if it was mixed with other drugs so I think your friend would be ok.

kava kava has shown reports of liver damage
valerian, passion flower, chamomile, lemon balm and lavender are other great herbs to try by themselves
always talk with a doc before using anything herbal, just because its herbal... doesnt mean theyre without issues
