So I started keeping quails and I have a bunch of questions... I spent a couple hours reading about them but I still need more info.
If anyone of you has quails please let me know.

What exactly do you want to know about them? Do you want recipes, farming info?

I'm not sure what kind of answers you are looking for, can you please be more exact in what you want to know so people can help you out.

My dad raised quail, what'd you want to know? I know they like grains and need sand and gravel to digest their food.

I have coturnix quails. Not sure if they're the japanese ones or not.
Do all coturnix females get black dots on their chest?
And do they need time to get used to their new habitat? Or should they start laying eggs right away if the conditions are right?

He doesn't know about the black dots. Says it will probably take a while for them to adapt to their new habitat before they start laying eggs. To help make it go quicker he said to build boxes with holes just big enough for the quails to get into, some of them closed off so they can hide and some of them open at the top with straw in them.
