Fashion Putting Beltbuckle on Belt?

Hey I have recently came across a gucci G classic beltbuckle from what I understand is the 70s, it was free, I am seeing the belt go on auctions for over 100 bucks everytime *which i dont care about as much as whe there there is a way I could put this beltbuckle on a different belt, as why not have a gucci belt buckle if you happen to have one. (I wont be coppin wearin it dont worry lol)
