So I have noticed what appears to be a large up spike in violence of small birds towards larger birds. By no means a new phenomenon, but I just saw two blackbirds attacking a duck in flight.

In the past I remember seeing smaller birds harassing large birds of prey, but these days it seems like evey time you see a larger bird it’s being attacked by smaller ones.

I can’t remember any time I saw a duck being harassed?

so as we are reducing their habitats, more birds are competing for the same territory and resources? but then they also seem to be doing some team work based on the OP. that to me is the interesting bit, i dunno, i know nothing relevant about birds but i just did not expect blackbirds to cooperate with each other for some reason. i've never even seen two together that i recall.
