I have been smoking a vape cartridge for a very short time. I purchased one not long ago from a doctor friend of mine. I'm having surgery on the 21st of this month and I heard there were some strains that were good for pain. Im trying to set myself up before my surgery. Any information you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

Go to that link and check out some strains, brutha. It's a pretty big list (25 pages of strains reported to provide pain relief), but if you want to further filter the results then click on the button that says "Filter by Strain Type" in the upper right hand corner of the page. A mini-window'll pop up that's pretty self-explanatory once you get to that point.

If you're looking for easy info, though, I'd suggest pretty much any of the OG Kush variants and hybrids. I've heard good things about SFV OG but I've never tried it myself. It's a West Coast strain and over here on the East Coast I can only find it in medicinal dispensaries and it costs an arm and a leg.
