I'm sorry to hear about OP's troubles, but I'm quite sure those are not caused by internet porn.
BUT, porn is actually quite dangerous for addictive mind with tendencies going overboard with things that get you excited. It's just that I think we all have learned that it's 'ok' to watch porn, you'll not get blind and it's perfectly normal - maybe so, but it's not that healthy we have used to think of if we look little bit deeper into it.
What makes it dangerous is that when you are watching porn you get your dose of dopamine. Dopamine is highly addictive and that makes you watch more and more and more and more porn, to get your new fix. Since you get lower dose of dopamine if you repeat things you have done already before, your brain seeks new, even more stimulating porn constantly. That's how you end up having 30 tabs some weird stuff that makes you think if you should destroy your laptop or not. You get tolerance with your porn quickly.
What makes porn quite big problem in modern society is that while you might think that your sessions with tens, hundreds or thousands different girls, guys, stories and scenes affect only your sexuality, it at the same time changed how you feel about other things like any other addiction. It will be harder to feel joy about other things not related to sexuality since your dopamine fix has changed your brain functionality. Also one thing is that it's free, available everywhere and you will always have new faces and new fetishes to get your fixation - it never ends. It's remotely comparable having unlimited supply of your choice of drug - do you need to regulate your intake or just go crazy with it? Could write a lot more about this subject, but this is the main point. And that is something everyone should seriously think about.
And anyone who says they are not addicted to porn, try to go without 6 month. At least for me it's way easier said than done.
