postsynaptic cell

Hi,

Do you know if the proteins such as FosB,JunD,CREB,etc on the postsynaptic cell shown in the image below are cells similar to neurotransmitters, or in other words what do they look like under the microscope?.

They don't look like anything. Protiens aren't usually big enough to see via optical microscopes
