Note to the young and under educated:

'Albums' were a 12" piece of vinyl that held an audio recording of someone that actually had talent. This recording was accessed by a fine needle that followed a spiral groove in the vinyl platter which was then decoded electronically to then burst your eardrums via a complicated array of turntables, amplifiers and loudspeakers. They were often incased in cardboard sleeves showing various images, lyrics and information that didn't need to be accessed via Google.
