Poppy straw concentrate

No, it is a procedure some dude invented.
Long time ago. ..
First they make " poppy granulate" like 5 to 15 % morphine, like opium.
Then they keep centrifugating the granulate until they made the " concentrate"
Ah, I see, interesting..... It actually sounded as if you knew it wasn't ground poppy pods and I began to doubt myself. Hence the reason I deleted the original post.

Oh, just saw the "tasting notes".

Odd that it isn't bitter. It should be.

Can't imagine anything with 50% morphine by weight wouldn't taste intensely bitter.
Right.... It must be a lot less than 50% for it to not have a bitter taste.

Not disputing what OP is saying, as I really have no knowledge of this mix or procesure. It just seems odd the morphine wouldn't be bitter

I assume that a lot of the inactive substance is going to be plant matter like chlorophyll. Poppy Straw is defined as all parts of the poppy after mowing, save for the seeds. So, even if it is "concentrated" I would imagine the proportions of the concentrate are still going to contain a lot of plant material, otherwise it would just be Morphine, right? There are probably other alkaloids in there like Codeine, Thebaine and maybe some others depending upon the variety of poppy and growing conditions.
