I was wondering if plasma levels of nitrous play a role in the maintenance of a normal function during stimulant use & in general - it seems N2O numbs the sympathomimetic effects induced by amphetamines (through a lot of ways).
Can there be a depletion of N2O, and if so would this cause an aggravation of stimulant related side effetcs (especially on the long run) like anxiety, elevated heartrate at rest, etc?

Also if you are experienced in aleviating amphetamine induced discomforts with nitrous, does it help, and if so for how long?

I think the natural compound seen in the body is nitric oxide NO., not nitrous oxide N2O. Pretty sure nitrous oxide is fully synthetic when used as a drug.

Nitrous has a very short half life compared to amphetamine so any sort of usage of nitrous would have very little effect on the long-term prognosis of amph overdose unless it was continuously administered (and mixed with oxygen) somehow.
