so the tragic irony of this is the films' message and the misuse of public roads. as racers they should know better than most people than to do shit like that. all reports of him being a top bloke in real life noted, this final act was fuckheadery of a considerably high order.

it was an industrial area, where tuning garages are commonly set up for the benefit of nice, wide, pedestrian-free roads to do street tuning on. as a gearhead i was really hit by this news, like a lot of heads in the tuner community. even knowing the damage the F&F franchise has done in terms of legislation cracking down on modified cars, it was still a mainstay and it felt good to see the scene repped in the mainstream and Walker wore his role well. RIP A-alike
 
He was pretty hot in Varsity Blues. Way hotter than Van durr geek.
