Oxycodone Addiction Abuse Question

I've noticed that even when taking my dose of 100-120 mg, I feel better than I did before I didn't take it. It gets rid of the withdrawal feeling, but does anyone like feel sick or worse like 4 hours after that ? Does withdrawal kick in already? Like what's happening ?

WDs CAN start quickly. Hours after last dose. But I doubt they would be terrible so soon. Even Heroin doesn't produce full on dope sickness in just 4 hours. (To my knowledge... H users correct me if I'm wrong)

If anything your body is pissed at you for forcing well above therapeutic levels of super strong narcotics into its blood steam and you just feel like shit. Are you eating? That's a big factor too.

Bro you're psyching yourself out. You want to quit, but you're having trouble. No shame in that. It's hard. The hardest thing many of us have ever done. You're overthinking everything.

Give it another shot tomorrow. But don't give up. You did okay for 4 hours on kratom. Next time, redose the kratom instead of going straight back to the Oxy.

I've been taking norco and/or oxycodone for going on 6 years now for chronic pain issues, and yes, I've experienced this.
I will start to feel rough about 3-4hrs later. I've heard that after taking a pain pill regularly for 3 mos, past that if you don't increase your dose or switch to a different med your dose is just keeping you out of withdrawal, not helping your pain. After 6yrs it's extremely tough.
I wake up in the morning in cold sweats and barely able to crawl out of the bed to get my meds. I'll even be sick to my stomach and shaky until I take it. Some days I wish I had never started seeing a pain specialist, other days I don't know how I would take care of my family without it.

Makes so much sense. Did you end up abusing the medication? Like I was prescribed for chronic back pain and thoracic outlook syndrome , in February - at the start 10 mg 4 times daily. Then eventually 30 mg 4 times daily.

But I wasn't taking them as prescribed, I would increase my dose one time a day recreationally and end of April I stopped cold turkey from 50-60 mg at once daily. 7 days of hell I would call it from sweats to vomiting to dizziness to flu feeling times a million, aches you couldn't imagine and more. I had no Kratom , loperamide, or clonidine or CalmSupport to help with withdrawals. Just xanax that I've been prescribed since 6/2012.

I stopped for almost 1 month and around 3rd week of May I started again. Now I'm up to 120 MG at once a day, first thing in morning because I feel so awful as soon as I wake up. And all that awfulness starts at like 5 pm, if I take the oxy at 8 am.

Is it safe or around the same, to take an 80 MG OXYCONTIN, instead of 80-100 mg IR OXYCODONE at once. Is there a difference or something that makes it unsafe compared to the IR OXY I've been taking around 100 mg at once ? Could I quarter or halve them etc.

Thanks
